Abuse prevention

temp-email.me is designed for privacy and legitimate testing—not anonymity for harmful activity.

Not allowed

• Fraud, phishing, impersonation, or financial abuse
• Spam, harassment, malware, or illegal content
• Automated capacity exhaustion or attacks on the service
• Bypassing bans, security controls, or another provider’s terms

Safeguards

The service is receive-only, limits message size, does not store attachments, uses private browser tokens, and automatically deletes expired inboxes. Additional rate limits and automated abuse checks may be applied.

Reporting

Until a dedicated abuse mailbox is configured, reports can be submitted through the domain registrar or Cloudflare’s standard abuse channels. Include the temporary recipient address, UTC time, sender, and a concise description without unnecessary personal information.

Response

Credible reports may lead to rejection, deletion, blocking, preservation required by law, or cooperation with appropriate authorities.
