Privacy policy

temp-email.me provides short-lived, receive-only email inboxes. This policy explains the limited information processed to operate and protect the service.

Information processed

We process the generated inbox address, a one-way hash of its browser access token, message sender, subject, readable message body, receipt time, and expiry time. We do not require your name, permanent email, phone number, or account registration.

Purpose

Information is used only to create inboxes, deliver requested messages, prevent unauthorized inbox access, maintain reliability, investigate abuse, and comply with applicable law.

Retention

Free inboxes and their messages are scheduled for deletion after 10 minutes. Short operational and security logs may be retained by infrastructure providers for reliability and abuse prevention.

Service providers

Cloudflare provides DNS, website delivery, email routing, serverless processing, and database services. Information may be processed where Cloudflare operates its network.

Your choices

You can delete your current inbox by selecting “Generate new address.” Do not use this service for sensitive information or anything that must remain recoverable.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will identify the current version.
